What a cutie!

Here are a couple funny pictures from our week. Today we were in the car and Gavin was eating some snacks. When I went to get him out of the car, this is how I found him.
It made me laugh out loud. The funniest part was we made it all the way into the house with it still there, where I took a couple pictures. So funny. He obviously had no idea it was there.
This is my favorite! Hopefully it brightens your day, like it did mine!
It has actually been cold, well cold for Phoenix the last couple of days. So Gavin finally got to wear this adorable sweatshirt.

And here finally is a video of Gavin walking. Usually when I get the camera out he refuses to walk, but look at him go.

Random Pics

Just a few random pictures that I've been meaning to post and keep forgetting.
One of Gavin's new favorite foods is Hummus. He loves it and especially loves making a mess while eating it.

He also discovered how to climb into his swing. Thankfully Kevin was sitting right beside him when this happened to catch him.
Gavin is going through a little phase where he doesn't want his picture taken, and when he does sit still long enough he makes these funny faces.
Smiling while closing his eyes, it just cracks me up.

A Visit from Uncle Jake & Auntie Hannah

This weekend Uncle Jake and Auntie Hannah came for a visit. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend. Unfortunately I did not take too many pictures because we had a lazy weekend. We did however eat lots, we went to the freezing pool, we saw "Where the Wild Things Are" (the last movie we will be seeing with Gavin for a while, he did not find it enjoyable), wandered around the Anthem Fall Festival (there was not much going on there, but Gavin enjoyed playing on the playground with Jake and Hannah), played games and just hung out. It was a very fun weekend. Thanks for coming to see us Uncle Jake and Auntie Hannah.

Gavin also has been learning to dance. When he hears a little music he starts dancing away. It is quite hillarious and cute. Here is a video of him dancing at lunch. Sometime I will get a video of him dancing when he is standing, then then bounces with the hand motions, very cute.

A Day at the Farm

Today Gavin and I had the chance to go to Mother Nature Farms with our MOPs friends. We had a very fun day at the farm.
Gavin was not so sure about what was going on.

As you can see it was a common theme.
Gavin got to pick out a little pumpkin that we got to decorate with stickers. Gavin did of course just wanted to eat the stickers but what more can you expect from a 10 month old.
He was more interested in playing in the dirt than picking out a pumpkin.
We then went for a hayride around the farm and ended by the petting zoo.
Gavin was loving watching the animals and was chatting away to anyone who would listen.
The animals wouldn't listen either.
Whenever I try to take a picture these days, Gavin will smile with his eyes closed. Well this one didn't even get a smile.
Gavin's favorite part of the whole day was playing in these cemet tubes. He could have played here and in the dirt all day and been completely happy.
He was chatting away to me while crawling back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.

We then had lunch and enjoyed some cupcakes. This would probably be Gavin's second favorite part of the day. He made quite a mess but loved his cupcake.
This was a sign to stick your head through, but Gavin was not quite tall enough, however he did not mind he still loved standing and playing.

Playing with the pumpkins, however the hay was much more fun.

What a fun day. And now the boy is exhausted and ready for a nap.

A Day in Search of Fall

Yesterday we took a day trip in search of some fall and to escape the heat. It was 102 in Phoenix yesterday, but perfect weather in Flagstaff where we spent our day. We found some beautiful scenery and wonderful fall colors and perfect weather. We did some walking around and hiking and then we rode the Skyride at Snobowl to the top of the mountain. It was quite stressful on the way up, Gavin did not want to sit still, but we survived and on the way down he slept, so it was much more enjoyable. After our afternoon of fun we found an amazing bbq stand on the side of the road that had the best bbq. Gavin loved it so much, he ate half of my pulled pork sandwhich, half my potato salad and half my beans. So needless to say Gavin loves bbq, just another thing to add to the list of food Gavin loves, I mean I'll be honest there isn't much the boy doesn't like, thankfully. All in all it was a wonderful day in the 70 degree weather a perfect way to escape the heat and maybe feel a bit like fall.
I love the mixture of the pine trees with all the fall colors.
The pictures are all in reverse order. So this is our way down on the Skyride at Snobowl.
That was our ride down, it was beautiful.
The view from the top.

On our way up the mountain.
He was not so sure about what was going on.
Hiking.

Kevin was throwing Gavin in the air and he was laughing and cracking up. So funny.

Gavin had just woke up from a nap at this point. He was not so sure about what was going on. I thought he would like playing with the leaves, but he didn't move from where we set him down. So unlike him at this point in time.
