Miss Hadley Kate Is Here

Well for starters this is Kevin writing so readers beware. We got the call this morning around 6am to head into the hospital so that Lindsey could be induced.  Lindsey will give you all the details once she feels better and settled. But I can certainly report the basics:

Hadley Kate Holt was born at 1:53pm today. She was a miniature 9lbs 12.6 ounces and 20.5 inches long. We feel so blessed to have a healthy baby and mommy. Mommy was a rock star as usual. If having larger babies was a profession, I would say she might be the best at making it look so easy.  Lindsey and I are extremely thankful for all your prayers and support!

Hadley had quite the bruising on her face as you can see in the pictures below. Her color has improved greatly during the course of the day. Gavin and Audra got to meet Hadley today and they were very excited to see her.

This is quite hilarious!  Kevin's mom made this.  Look closely and you will see Kevin, Gavin, Audra, Uncle Nate & Gramps!  Pretty funny.

On Wednesday we went to watch the Master's College basketball team play at Grand Canyon University.  I think the kids were both more excited about the free cups they gave us on the way in.

Audra has had a cold all week, so always had snot dripping with her nose mixed with a mess of other food.

Dancin' the Night Away

Last night while Kevin & I went to Bible Study, the kiddos went over to the Arnolds.  They had a very fun evening dancing the night away.

Well as usual I'm a little behind on posting my phone pictures again.  Kevin was gone all weekend, so it was a little crazy around here.  Thankfully I have a wonderful sister who is living with us and is such an amazing help to this poor pregnant momma.

I was cleaning the tray on the high chair and Little Missy decided she was awfully hungry and climbed up into the high chair all by herself.

Gavin helped me make some nummy treats.  He just wanted to eat all the "smashmellows"!  I love how he says "marshmallows"  its quite adorable.

Last Sunday, Mandy and I had a booth at a local handmade/craft fair at a children's store.  It was quite fun to just spend the day with my sister.  Although our booth ended up being in the sun, which even at 75 degrees we both left with a little bit of a sunburn.  Crazy.  But it was a fun day and we both were able to unload some stuff!  Yeah!

We painted a special present for Daddy for his birthday, and birthday cards.  The kids love to paint!!!

Bucket heads!

One day I came downstairs to find this.  Gavin had gotten himself out the lunchmeat, some cream cheese and a spoon and was making a little snack.  A couple weeks ago, I had done this for him, apparently this time he didn't need my help.

And that is for now!  I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Kevin's Birthday Celebration

Yesterday was Kevin's birthday for anyone who missed it.  We had a very fun day celebrating with him.  We made a special trip to daddy's work to surprise him with a milkshake!  Gavin was very excited that it was Kevin's birthday, and slightly confused at why it wasn't his birthday.  When Kevin got home Gavin was dying for Kevin to open his presents (because he knew that meant he could help).  Kevin got a new pair of jeans, oh boy, I know exciting, but Gavin thought it was very exciting.

Audra getting in some Auntie Mandy snuggles.  The kiddos are quite enjoying have Auntie Mandy around.  When she got home from work, Gavin ran up to her yelling, "AAAUUNTTIEEE MAAAANDY!"  It was very cute.

Kevin also got a new sander.  Gavin was also very excited because it meant lots more fun PROJECTS!

And then Kevin opened the present from the kids.  Gavin was very proud of his painting.  They painted cards and a very special picture for Kevin.

And then Gavin helped Daddy blow out the candles on his Peanut Butter Torte, thank you pinterest, it was quite delicious.

And then we enjoyed quite the entertainment from the kiddos.  If you have a couple minutes, you should watch these videos, they are quite hilarious, we were all crying from laughing so hard.  There are a lot, but they are all pretty short.  Enjoy. 

And a wonderful HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my amazing husband & wonderful father to our kiddos!  We love you very much!
