This past weekend we attempted to take the children to a pumpkin patch. And well that's about all we succeeded doing, we were there. I was quite bummed, Gavin was a wreck, he wanted to be held the whole time and didn't want to participate and Audra was tired so she doesn't like to look up from the ground when she is tired. So that about sums up the trip. There was a petting zoo (where Gavin hit a pig), a corn maze, pony rides (which we didn't even attempt), lots of little games and of course a hayride to pick out a pumpkin.
Here Gavin is doing what he did best that day, sulking and pouting and whining.

I thought that food might make him a little happier, but that didn't work much either.

Not too often you see pumpkins in the middle of the desert.

This was about the best picture I got of them all day, Audra looking at the ground and Gavin at least was not pouting.

And this was about as close as Gavin wanted to get to Audra, this from the boy who usually I can't get off of her.

No smiles, but at least she looked up for me.

What a fun hayride. And on the way back he dropped the pacifier off the ride and we lost it. Lovely.

My favorite picture of the day. Well one good picture at least.

It wasn't really what I had in mind for our day, but that's just how it goes sometimes with a toddler and infant, they are unpredictable.
