Spokane

This weekend my parents came to Phoenix, to help me and the kiddos fly to Spokane for the week. Kevin will be meeting us here this coming Friday. We have been loving the cooler weather and enjoying some fun time outside. Here are a few, or quite a few pictures of our first day in Spokane. Gavin loves being outside, so needless to say he is enjoying himself, playing lots of basketball and jumping on the trampoline for the first time. Did I mention that we are loving being able to be outside in the wonderful weather.

Audra 2 Months & Funny Gavin

First we have some pictures of the hillarious Gavin. He had just woken up from a nap, hence the crazy hair, and had shoved a whole pack of gushers in his mouth. Too funny.

And then we have the lovely Audra and her 2 month pictures.

Catching Up.

Alright are you ready for some catching up. Here it goes . . .

Audra lounging around, Kevin and I were joking that she has an old man smile right now, but its too so cute.

Gavin has been working hard at his baseball skills.

Look at that form, makin' daddy proud.
Taking a little break for some modeling.
Back to the baseball, we're still working on the timing of the swing.
On Monday we went with some friends to theArizona Science Center. Gavin is a little young to understand why the exhibits work the way they do but he still has way to much fun. Gavin's favorite exhibit is called Forces of Nature, where you stand on this platform and it plays video of natural disasters on giant screens , while making you feel what it would feel like to experience the disasters. He loves, it kept going back for more. You see a hurricane and feel wind and rain, you see an earthquake and the ground shakes. As you can see Gavin thinks its great, for a lot of kids it actually scares them, but not Gavin.
Feeling the rain.
This was the 2nd or 3rd time Gav was watching the show and Audra was sleeping so I was sitting with the stroller. Gavin ran on up and stood in the middle of everyone and still enjoyed it just as much.
This was Gavin's other favorite exhibit. It was a magnetic wall where you could move the tubes to let the balls run down. He thought it was great and would jump around and laugh. Too funny.
Everyone else was enjoying watching Gavin just as much as the balls because he was getting so excited.
This face cracks me up.
We also did lots of building with different blocks.
Then Gavin worked with gears.

One of Gavin's other favorite things to do these days is to hold Audra. He is so cute and protective while holding her.
Kisses.
This one cracks me up because of how he is holding her head.
Kisses on the hand.

Look at that smile.

Audra is 2 Months Old

Today we took Audra to the doctor for her 2 month check up. Besides being beautiful, strong and healthy she weighed in at 12 lbs (78th percentile) and measured 25 inches (99th percentile) in length. Gavin at 2 months was 13lbs and 24 1/2 inches in length.
(I wanted to apologize for the lack of photos this week, we have been having internet trouble. Needless to say I have lots of pictures to post in the next couple days. So check back tomorrow.)

Birthday Wishes!

Today we want to wish Gruncle Paul a wonderfully HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We hope you have a wonderful day.

(We had the chance to celebrate with the Birthday Boy this past weekend.
We had quite a wonderful mexican fiesta and then enjoyed some amazing desserts while Paul taught Gavin some new dance moves.)
