Spokane

Gavin and I had the opportunity to go to Spokane last week. We had a lot of fun and enjoyed the cooler weather. It was wonderful to catch up with everyone and Gavin loved all the attention. Below I have added a lot of pictures but I had a hard time narrowing it down. Some of the activities included family dinner at the Greers, shopping, lunch with Grandma Floch, a women's tea with Grammy, Grandma and Aunt Jewel, picking up Cam's tux, visiting with Clare, and Uncle Clay and Aunt Jewel and dessert at Twigs. We were happy to come home to our busy worker bee Kevin.

On Sunday I was sitting on the floor with Gavin. I was folding laundry and Gavin was busy playing. Well Gavin had rolled over to his tummy and was facing away from me. Usually when he gets on his tummy after a couple of minutes he will begin squealing and get upset, however this time he was having fun playing. Well I went around to look at him and found this.

He had spit up and was busy smearing it all over the ground. The funny thing was I cleaned him and the floor all up and put him back on his back, he rolled back on his stomach and then spit up again and was smearing it all over again. But how can you get mad at such a cute face.

Gavin eats rice cereal.

Here are a couple of videos of Gavin eating rice cereal. We started about a week ago trying, but just yesterday he actually started swallowing it. Well the second video is actually just of him playing with the swing, he gets a little excited, and has to be moving all the time. I appologize for the third video facing the wrong direction but he was talking a lot and just too cute.

4 Month Doctors Visit

Today Gavin went to the doctor for his 4 month visit. Time goes by so quickly, its hard to believe he is already 4 months old. Well the doc said Gavin was a big, healthy, growing boy. He weighed in at 18 pounds and measured 27 inches long, that puts him in the 97th percentile in both. The bummer of the visit was that he had to get 4 more shots, no fun. But Gavin is a tuff boy he screamed for about couple minutes and then calmed down. He has however been a little fussy this afternoon, but its allowed, especially since he has such an adorable smile. Below is a pic from this weekend, I'm still working on getting the rest of them up, maybe by tomorrow.

Gavin Rolls Over

On Thursday Gavin rolled over. The first couple of times he would get stuck on his arm and couldn't make it all the way over. However now he has no problem. If you put him on his back he automatically starts trying to roll over. He even tries to roll over on the changing table, but he can't go anywhere because the sides go up.

Gavin's New Toy

Last week Gavin's new toy came in the mail. After some hard work by Grammy it was ready for bouncing. Needless to say, Gavin loves his new toy, there are so many things for him to look at and play with oh and he loves to stand and bounce. And Gavin would like to thank the Edwards and the Fletchers for this wonderful gift. Yah!

Opening Day!

Today was Opening Day at Chase Field. We had a wonderfully fun day riding the light rail with all the other D-backs fans, recieving free t-shirts, yah!, taking part in Opening Day ceremonies, sitting 18 rows from the field, cheering and screaming, eating lots of peanuts, watching Gavin's fascination with the stadium, and witnessing home run after home run after home run. It was an exciting game and best of all the D-backs WON!

A Weekend of Sports!

Friday night Gavin and I had the privilege of going with Graunt Kathy and Gruncle Paul to a Suns basketball game. We had amazing seats in a suite at the center of the court. I tell you that is the way to watch a game. Gavin particularly enjoyed all the wonderfully bright lights and I think he even enjoyed the flat screen tv in our suite more than the actual game.

Gavin and I are in our Suns colors ready to head out to the game.

The only orange shirt Gavin owns is this Christmas shirt, but it worked wonderfully for cheering on our Suns.

Gavin was very excited and was squealing away.

And more squealing.

And more squealing.

Gavin was relaxed and having fun with Gruncle Paul.

"Wow look at the tv."

It was a serious game going on.

"Mom no pictures, I'm trying to watch the game."

Saturday Grandpa and Nana came to town and we went to the Diamondbacks exhibition game.

Gavin was again enjoying the tv more than the game. And we ended the day by going home and watching some March Madness. Needless to say Gavin was quite tuckered out from all the basketball and baseball and slept most of the evening.
