I really don't even know what to say, but we went grocery shopping the other day and here was Gavin kicked back, soaking up the rays, relaxed and eating his snacks. It just made me laugh.

Busy Gavin

Well as usual Gavin has been quite busy lately. He seems to be over his cold for the most part today, except for a runny nose. However I believe that the nose is from his teeth. He has almost all four eye teeth in now, thankfully. He has been very busy getting those teeth in and I think we will all be happier once they are. So the following pictures are just a little view of what Gavin does all day.

Today included some reading of God's Word.
He was very happy to find Kevin's Bible. He kept climbing up the stairs and sitting and would then open up the Bible and flip through the pages. It was very cute. Since he was loving pretending to read, we actually sat down later and read a little story, very temporarily since he doesn't sit too long at a time. (Oh and since he has become such a good climber up and down the stairs I don't put the gate up anymore, I think he feels quite privelaged because he loves to just go sit on the stairs now).
About a week or so ago some friends from church wanted to get rid of a train table, their children are older now and it was taking up space. We were very thankful to recieve this gift. Gavin loves to play with the trains. And at this point tear the tracks apart.

Look at that snotty nose.
And all those teeth.
He also has quite the fetish with his sunglasses these days. And is getting quite good at getting them on all by himself.

The funniest part of this picture is that we have two of these green chairs side-by-side and Kevin and I always sit in the one chair with the laptop. So yesterday I was checking my email, and he went and got his computer out and crawled up on the chair next to me and started typing on his computer. Too cute.
Yesterday I told Gavin we were going to go outside, so he ran and found his sunglasses and then followed me down the stairs. He then went and got inside he car and put his sunglasses on. I was laughing so hard, it was very funny.
This picture cracks me up because he was tipping his head back to keep the sunglasses on.

Again trying to keep the glasses on, too funny.

Baby Audra at 24 1/2 Weeks

On Tuesday I went to the doctor for another ultrasound. Audra is getting bigger and bigger, weighing in at 1lb now. And her heartbeat was nice and fast at 155 beats per minute.
This picture is of Audra's little leg, or as the ultrasound tech informed me, not so little. She already has very long legs, the tech said they are the length of a normal 26 to 30 week old and she is 24 1/2 weeks. But lets be honest we all knew she would have long legs. If you are having a hard time seeing this picture, the foot is on the left side and the thigh is on the right. (Sorry for the weird discoloration of the pictures, its because water spilled in my purse with the pictures).
And here is our little Audra doing what she does best sucking on her hand.

What a Great Helper!

I found Gavin, before our company arrived, helping me scrub the floors with this bar of soap. How sweet of him to think of helping me.

The M&M Machine

Yesterday Gavin and I got busy in the kitchen making Kevin a wonderful Valentine's Day Surprise. Gavin was quite the little helper with his wisk and spatula in hand.
He was more concerned about eating all the m&m's than decorating cookies.
I was trying to show Gavin how to put m&m's on a cookie and instead he took them off and ate them. Well he definately is my child and loves his chocolate.
Scoping out all the cookies, while I worked on getting the frosting ready.
Our finished products.

I then put Gavin in the high chair to eat a cookie, but again he just ate the m&m's.
Kevin's special cookies.

What a cute helper.

The Train Park

On Friday Gavin & I spent the morning at the train park with some of our friends. Gavin had so much fun. He discovered that he loves going down the slides.
Gavin especially loved going down the slides face first, as you can see in this picture. The slide was alittle faster than the other and he flew right off the end into the sand face first. However it did not discourage him or stop him in the least, he hopped right back up and climbed back up the stairs for some more. I had to chase after him just to wipe the sand off his face.

He was chatting away and sqealing the whole time. Each time he would come down, he would scream, "Wwhheeee!" It was too cute.

His second favorite to the slide was the steering wheel. He loves to be in control of the wheel already. I got after him a couple times for pushing other children out of the way so that he could have it.

He did eventually figure out that he could sit and go down.
Posing on the end of the slide for me.
He then wanted to say hello to everyone out there, he is waving.

Getting ready to go down.
Sitting and ready to slide.
The man in action.
Our friends Beth & Charissa riding the carousel.
This was Gavin's first time riding a carousel. He was not so sure about it.
Charissa loved the carousel.
Before long Gavin was not having fun any more and wanted down. I then held him the rest of the ride.
The park also had a little old western town. Gavin enjoyed crawling all over the stagecoach.
He was very proud of himself for climbing up on the seat.

And back to the stagecoach.
Gavin was enjoying watching the train go by and waving at all the people. Before we went on the carosel we also took a ride on the train, I however did not get any good pictures of it.
Gavin never wants to eat his own food anymore, but he always wants to eat everyone elses.
A few last pictures of Gavin loving the slide.
So much so that he DID NOT want to leave, he threw quite the tantrum when it was time to go.
