InstaFriday

If you didn't notice I missed last Friday's InstaFriday.  And so this week I have a lot of making up to do.  Things have been a little crazy around here preparing for the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market.

Two weeks ago . . .
Gavin decided to try his goggles on Hadley.  It was quite hilarious.  She just sat there and let him do it.  On Saturday we went to Gavin's baseball game.  It felt like I was sitting at a baseball game in Washington, not Phoenix, it was absolutely freezing.  It was super SUPER windy and cold.  The girls did not enjoy it at all.  Hadley has learned how to hold her own bottle which is quite exciting.  And then the girls spent the afternoon doing a little thrifting.  Audra has been quite enjoying the thrifting these days.
She found an awesome wig, glasses and some lei's.  She was quite funny running around the store.
On Sunday, my mom went with me to the Hullabaloo sale where I was doing a booth.  We had a fun time without all the kiddos and enjoyed the beautiful weather.  Hadley has discovered her feet in the last couple weeks and has started teething.  Lots and lots of drooling.
Hadley fell asleep at dinner.  And Gavin decided that he was a baby.  I found him watching his movie like this one day.  And Hadley lost her pacifier, can you find it?
Gavin and Hadley enjoyed some movie time while I tried to get some projects done.
Audra enjoyed some fun outside.

Audra's meal of choice these days is cereal.  Ever since Grammy & Pops were here, she loves her a good bowl of cereal, in the morning and usually after she gets up from a nap.
Last week we spent a couple days at the doctor with Hadley because she had an ear infection that would not go away.  The best part was I discovered a wonderful new way to keep the kiddos occupied and busy.  I found crayons in my purse and Gavin and Audra drew pictures on the paper on the waiting table.  It was wonderful!
Then Gavin fell out of his bed and hit his head on his toybox.  Kevin and I heard a loud thud.  Neither of us was too alarmed, but then I heard screaming.  I ran upstairs and he was sitting on the floor wrapped in his blankets crying.  I picked him up and was trying to get him to calm down and asked him if he fell out of bed, he said, "yes".  I said, "did you hurt yourself?" he said,"my my heeeaaad,"  I looked down at him and saw him gushing blood down his face.  Thankfully it wasn't as bad as all the blood made it look, but he woke up with quite a nasty swollen eye.  It didn't seem to even bother him.
I was taking a picture of Gavin's eye and Audra felt left out and wanted her picture taken.
Last Friday, Auntie Mandy had the day off so we went to join her at her pool.  The kids had a lot of fun.  Gavin has been talking about going back to Auntie Mandy's all week.  And Hadley had her first swim.  She quite enjoyed the water.

Saturday Gavin had another baseball game.  He was not really all there, he was half asleep most of the game and kept yawning.
On Wednesday Audra made sure when we left the house for Gavin's practice that she had her baseball glove and ball.  She quite enjoyed Gavin's practice and ran around the whole time chasing balls.

And that's it.

Insta Friday

Here we go . . .

Last Saturday we had Gavin's second baseball game.  It was quite hilarious at the end of the game, I looked across the field between 1st and 2nd base there were 3 kids and they were all bent over playing in the dirt!  Gotta love tball.
Hadley quite enjoyed sitting outside as at the game too.  After the game, we had lunch with Grammy and Pops!
Then we came home to get ready for our Easter weekend.  Audra helped Grammy make the rolls for Sunday.  And then once Auntie Mandy and Daddy were home we colored Easter eggs.
Audra was quite excited about the coloring and Gavin and Pops were in the color zone.
And then Grammy helped the kiddos make resurrection rolls!  So yummy.  And Daddy read them the Resurrection story before heading to bed.  While Hadley tried on her new headband Auntie Mandy made.
On Sunday we celebrated a wonderful resurrection day with great friends and family, with lots and lots of yummy food.  And the third and 4th pictures are a rare moment for Miss Audra this week with a smile and looking oh so sweet.  She's definitely been pushing the discipline line this week.
Trying out Gavin's hat and playing baseball like her big brother.
Miss Hadley had her first bites of rice cereal.  Im not so sure she liked it.
Gavin and Audra both got bath foam in their Easter baskets and needless to say they loved it.  I think Gavin's bottle was gone after just 2 nights.  He would squirt it out and just crack up laughing.  Audra eventually warmed up to the idea.  At first she was not happy about the mess on her face and arms.

Yesterday after MOPS the kids and I went to surprise Kevin at work and to take him to lunch.  And while we were out Audra decided to try out Hadley's seat, I think she might be a little big.  The bottom left picture cracks me up, because this is Audra every morning.  Every morning when Grammy and then Pops pour their bowl of cereal she runs over to where they are and places herself right next to them so she can mooch their cereal.
And yesterday we went for a walk to the mail box, this is one of Gavin's favorite things to do these days, because drives his Escalade.  Well this time Hadley got to take a ride too.  She was having a hard time hold her head up so Pops helped her.

And that is our week!  And only a couple more days and Daddy will be done working these crazy hours!  YEAH!

Hadley is 4 Months!

This past week Hadley had her 4 month well baby check.  It turns out she's not quite as big I was thinking she was.  She weighed 17lbs (97%) and was 26" long (95%).

Gavin at 4 months was 18 pounds and 27 inches long. Audra didn't make it to the doctor at 4 months, because Kevin and I were in Italy (wow that seems like a long time ago).

Hadley is quite the busy girl these days.  She is rolling over like a crazy woman, the minute you lay her down she rolls over.  She even pulls her legs up, like she's going to scoot away on us.  And I would guess within the next couple weeks she will have a couple teeth, she is drooling like crazy and gnawing on everything she can get her hands on.  Our baby is growing up very quickly.

Insta Friday

Audra thought it would be funny to hold her fuzz under her pacifier.  Shes a funny one.  Then she found one of those tablets you get from the dentist that show you where you aren't reaching the toothbrush.  And she ate it.  It made a nice purple mess!  Kevin got Gavin a new bat!  He was very excited.
On Saturday, Gavin had his first baseball game.  It was quite hilarious to watch.  This first picture is Gavin just walking off the field once he got to third base, he was done he said.  Good thing the game was almost over.  Pops and Grammy were here to watch, although Audra kept them quite busy most of the time.

We then went to lunch with Auntie Mandy and headed to a Diamondbacks spring training game.  The game was quite warm.  We met up with our friends from church and tried to stay cool.  Hadley was not to thrilled with the heat.
And on the way home the kiddos all fell asleep.
On Sunday morning on the way to church Daddy bought them donuts!  Someone was quite excited!
And after church we cam home and worked on projects.  Hadley was my painting buddy, while Gav helped Kevin.
Audra just being herself.  Gavin took a good spill and scraped his knee.  And Audra is quite proud of her Easter clothes.
Miss happy Hadley, even though she has an ear infection and is teething.
Since teething, Hadley has taken to chewing her pacifier.  And Gavin collected toilet paper rolls at Auntie Mandy's for a project we are working on.  He was cracking me up because he was silent on the way to baseball practice and /i turned around and this is what I saw.  And a minute later he asked for his sunglasses because we forgot his hat and then he quickly fell asleep.
This was Gavin ready to catch the ball.  You tell him to bend his knees and this is what you get.
However it was a beautiful night and on the way home we saw an amazing sunset.
The kiddos played outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather, which then means they need baths upon coming inside to get rid of all the dirt.
And Hadley had her first bite of rice cereal, before throwing up all over herself.  She's had an ear infection and so we thought it was her antibiotic making her throw up and so we started a new antibiotic, but that didnt seem to stop the throwing up.
And today they got an Easter package from Grandma Roro and Grandad Holt!
I hope you all had a wonderful week.
