Today Kevin's office threw a baby shower for Kevin and I and another couple who has a baby due to arrive a couple weeks ahead of Audra. It was a wonderful shower at the Troon Country Club with good food and fellowship and they all showered love and gifts on us. We are so blessed and so thankful for such wonderful, generous friends and coworkers.

The Zoo

Yesterday Gavin and I went with some of our friends from MOPS to the zoo. It was a super windy day but Gavin loved watching all the other kids probably more than the animals

Pictures

Here are some pictures from the last week or so that I haven't gotten up on the blog.
We found these glasses when cleaning, getting ready for our move. He loved them.
Gavin was having a hard time getting them to stay up, but he did manage to get them on.

He also found this bucket. I turned around one evening and this is what I found. It was quite hillarious.

He is loving our new patio and being able to go outside whenever he wants.
First thing in the morning he is ready to go outside, even without any pants on.
And this is Gavin's new favorite place to watch tv.
One night when Pops was here we were working on putting child locks on all the cabinets and Gavin wanted to help.
So he layed down on the ground with Pops and Dad to help.

the TABLE

We had a monumentous evening in the Holt household last night . . .

are you ready . . .

we had our first dinner as a family at a TABLE!!!

Since Gavin has been born we have not had a table in our home and now in our new home we have room for a wonderful table. So last night we celebrated and had our first dinner at our new table. Gavin was so excited about having a table that he did not want to sit in the high chair but at the table in a chair with us. It was very fun and made me so very thankful for our wonderful new house with room for a dining table. And thanks to Kevin's dad who spent many long hours sanding our table, and my dad who helped us whitewash it. We are so very thankful.

And here are a few pictures of our table. We don't have the benches finished yet or chairs that matched so I moved them out of the picture, but soon you will see those too and pictures of the rest of the house.

What a Helper!

Gavin is quite the little helper. He has been learning how to perform some very important tasks for his future.
While Nana & Gramps were here he was studying how to sand.

And with Pops here he has been learning how to fix our cars for us.

He was quite interested in the car and was trying to climb up and see what was going on inside there.

Well I unfortunately do not have many pictures of the moving process, but thanks to Kevin's mom I do have a few. So here we are . . .
We spent the first couple of days trying to get the whole downstairs painted, and thanks to our amazingly wonderful friends & family we were able to accomplish our goal.
Gavin & his friend Baylor also were busy that night.
Gavin was a huge help with driving the moving truck. What a natural.

He also thoroughly enjoyed running up and down the ramp of the truck.

Hopefully soon I will have some pictures of our house. I still have a little work to get done before that though. Soon, I promise.

Opening Day Baseball

You can't see it in this picture, but they were clapping and cheering, it was quite cute.

Last week was opening day for the Diamondbacks, and thanks to a friend of Kevin's that still works down there we had the privelege of going and sitting in a suite. Yah! The only way to do it with a one year old. Kevin's parents, Gavin & I went with my friend Coley and her two sons Baylor & Broden. Gavin and Baylor had too much fun running around and cheering and clapping. They were quite fun to watch.
