Video Time!

Just a few videos, they are all from awhile ago. The first 2 are from one of Gavin's practices. Audra was trying very badly to participate. The 3rd video is Miss Chatty Hadley. And the last video, which I thought I had shared this video before, but maybe not on the blog, Mr. Gavin singing "I'm a Man" from the Muppet movie. He could listen to this song over and over and over again.

Insta Friday

Well I had this all written out once and then it did not save, so lets try it again.  Gavin has been very into the Avengers and Spiderman these days, I think I mentioned that before.  The other day he found his wallet (an old wallet of Kevin's) and in it was $5, he was quite excited needless to say.  So he proceeded to pack up his backpack with his wallet and $5 and then dump out his piggy bank inside as well.  He then rounded up his sister, with his backpack in head and began explaining to me as he was heading to the door, that he and Audra were going to the theatre!  They then started to unlock the front door and were ready to leave.  Funny kids.  Gavin is quite excited to see the new Madagascar movie and has been counting down the weeks, well I guess he got the days mixed up because he still has a couple weeks to wait.  So instead we went to Walmart so he could spend his money and he bought this Spiderman toy, so he can shoot ropes out of his arm and fly.  Audra has been deciding to just disappear and take her diaper off these days.  If she wanted to she could be potty trained, but most days she decides to just diappear, take her diaper off and leave a nice puddle of pee somewhere for me to later discover.  And usually she will come back with some random article of clothing around her waist, becuase she has put both legs through the same hole and then pulled it up to her waist.  This day it happened to be Hadley's tutu.  It's pretty funny with no pants on.  And as for Miss Hadley, she is just constantly working on teeth these days and chewing on anything she can get into her mouth.
Gavin apparently had a hold of my phone and took some pictures of Hadley while she was eating her teething biscuit.
Miss Hadley is can sit up well enough now to site in a high chair!  yeah!  And on Saturday Gavin had his last baseball game.
Miss Hadley has the longest eye lashes!  I'm quite jealous actually.  And she got her second tooth.  Now she has 2 bottom teeth.
After Gavin's baseball game they had a team party at Peter Piper Pizza, and Hadley was quite excited!
And Gavin was quite mesmerized by his trophy!  And of course with the chocolate cupcake that is all over his face.
And again, Gavin got a hold of my phone and took a couple hundred pictures of himself and Audra.
Cool Mr. Gavin.  And look at Audra's hair, we were able to get 2 pigtails and braid them!  It was quite an exciting day.
To combat the crazy heat we are already having, I took the kids to Walmart to get a little pool for them too swim.  It was quite the ordeal to get this thing in my car, oh did I say in my car, I didn't fit (it was quite a bit larger than I thought) I meant on top of my car.  And thankfully there was a very nice worker in the parking lot that helped me tie it down and with a hand through the sunroof holding it, we very slowly made it home.  Audra was quite excited to get that pool filled with water, she was quite upset that I needed to feed Hadley when we got home.  The whole time I was feeding Hadley she stood in front of me saying, "pooo, pooo" and pointing to the front door with this sad face.
We also took a trip to a splashpad with some friends.  Audra has been enjoying having an older brother and lots of other boys around.  We're going to have to keep a close eye on that girl.

And Audra loves snuggling up to her sister, often times very roughly.  Miss Hadley is going to be one tough girl.
I love these girls!

Insta Friday, not quite a week behind.

Well Hadley has been busy eating lots and lots of food.  This week she was eating Peaches!  And loved them of course.  And she got her second tooth.  She has her 2 bottom teeth now!  Gavin has been quite into the Avengers these days and Auntie Mandy helps him keep up on all his comic book knowledge.  This day he was Tony Stark, and kept repeating, "I am Tony Stark".  I think he had spent the afternoon with Auntie Mandy watching Iron Man.
Getting in some snuggles and ready with Auntie Mandy.  The kiddos enjoyed watching a movie together, just kidding, they enjoyed sitting next to each other for . . . ummm, maybe 2 minutes.
We then went to the splash pad with Krystyn and Orland and Noelia, before they left for Spokane for a couple weeks.  Since its been heating up quite quickly here, we have been doing lots of splash padding.  Orland brought squirt guns to share and the kiddos were quite excited.

Audra modeling her curly hair.  Hadley being her normal happy self.
Last Thursday night I threw a baby shower with some friends for a really good friend that had moved away (she was back in town for the weekend, so we wanted to celebrate that baby boy while they were here).  The kids enjoyed helping me make lots of yummy desserts and being my taste testers.
Here's a few pictures from the shower.  Our friend Colleen hosted and had a beautiful setup started and I added a few crates and the desserts to complete it.  It was very fun.

Video Time

Video time. I have so many video to catch up on. Today I have this past Saturday's baseball videos and the last video was from our last MOPS meeting. The kids sang a few songs for all the moms.

Insta Friday

This week was a crazy one for us.  Kevin spent the entire week home sick from work.  He never misses work, but this week I think the craziness of his schedule for the last couple months finally caught up and his body said it was done.  He was home in bed, not moving most of the week, while I tried to keep the kids as quiet as possible, which did not go so well.  On Monday Gramps was here for half the days, so we met Kevin for lunch.  He did actually make it to work Monday, but then left after lunch because he wasn't feeling well.  This girl is always full of smiles, even when she isn't feeling well.

Audra and her crazy morning hair!
Audra has been really into playing with her babies, which has been including Hadley these days.

She even shared her sunglasses with Hadley.
Gotta love this crazy girl!

Hadley also took up scootching backwards this week.  She can get herself all the way across the room.
And she finally popped through her first tooth (bottom right).
On Saturday Auntie Mandy came with us to Gavin's baseball game to keep Audra company.
And thank the Lord Kevin is finally feeling a little better and is back to work today.

InstaFriday just a few days late!

Our crazy life just keeps on going.  So here it is, a week in a review.

We were able to get the first braid in Audra's hair!  Yeah.  Audra is learning how to be much more gentle with Hadley.  And Gavin had another baseball game!
He had a much better game this week and participated a lot more!
Hadley can feed her self most of time!  I celebrated another year.  Auntie Mandy came over early to decorate my house with streamers and brought me breakfast!  It was quite yummy.  Thanks Mandy.  And Gavin was busy drawing me masterpieces.  He was using my stack of signs as his easel.  I asked him to turn around and smile for a picture and he nicely leaned his arm down and posed!  Funny boy.  He then was hanging his artwork on the shelves.

On my birthday we met some friends for lunch at Joe's BBQ and then let the kids play.  It was a fun day to not think about all the market stuff going on and the kids all played very nicely.  And then we came home and Auntie Mandy came over and watched the kids so Kevin and I could go to dinner!  I told you, I do have an amazing sister.
Hadley was quite tuckered out at dinner.  She fell asleep while I was finishing getting everything on the table.  Look at that sweet face.
Miss Audra and her craziness when she first wakes up!
I was quite busy this week getting everything ready for the market.  So we spent a lot of time in the garage "working on projects" as Gavin would say.  He had many of his own projects he was working on, like losing screws and nails in the box, but it kept him busy.  And Hadley just enjoyed being outside.
Kevin was out of town for 2 days, so it made the week quite crazy, but thanks to the help of Mandy I was able to finish up the last few things I needed to before the big day.  And then the day finally arrived.  We spent the entire day from sun up to sun down on Friday at WestWorld setting everything up and then setting it up again after the tents blew over and a few of them broke.  But we managed to get it all together, with the help of Monique brother and father in law, and husband, Kevin and his dad, Coley's husband and then in the wee hours we had Auntie Mandy and Uncle Jake and Auntie Hannah to help finish up as well.  It was a crazy day, but by the Lord's grace it all came together.  And then bright and early Saturday morning the vendors began to arrive!  And the long awaited day was finally underway.  With a beautiful sunrise to start it off.  And a great line of people waiting to come in at 9AM.
We had live music, thank to a friend of Coley's from Young Life, lots of fabulous giveaways and lots and lots of great chippy, rusty, vintage stuff!
Everyone seemed to have a great day and left with FULL arms!  yeah!  Again thank you Lord for a successful day.  Over 1000 people showed up and shopped to their hearts content.  We had a couple vendors sell completely out of everything they brought!  Pretty crazy.  Jake took lots of fabulous pictures that we will have soon to show off, Hannah was a social media guru keeping everyone in the know and our greeter/counter, Mandy kept our booth running and functioning smoothly, Coley's parents & Justin kept everyone happy at the front gate taking their money, Doug and Adam and their dad helped all the shoppers carry their heavy items to their cars and load them in.  Thank you everyone for all the amazing help.  We truly could not have done it without you. And a huge thank you to Gramps for coming in for the weekend and helping.  On Saturday he took Gavin to his baseball game (since it was picture day and our snack day) and kept Gavin busy all day on Saturday.  Oh and how could I forget a huge thank you to Young Life.  We had 10 girls who helped direct everyone in the parking lot to actually make it down to the event.  We dontated a cart to them to sell raffle tickets as all the shoppers were entering the event and they sold almost $600 in tickets.  And all the money goes straight to them to help pay for camp this summer!  They were amazing and we wouldn't have been successful without them.  Oh and how could I forget my AMAZING husband who was the glue that kept us all together and sane!  When we had moments of panic when the tents blew over he was there calming us all down with a plan and ready to move on.  He is truly AMAZING!  And we would not even have a business or market without him!
On Sunday I'm not sure we moved much.  We were all completely exhausted and sore.  The kiddos enjoyed having Gramps in town.  The kids were quite busy getting into everything.  Gavin has decided he wants to cook all the time.  So yesterday when I opened the fridge this is what I found.  He had made dinner, the plate in the back, which is peanut butter sandwhich crackers which he added additional peanut butter too and the front is apparently frozen cereal?!  I'm not sure, but he was quite proud of himself.
And that's our week.  We continue to keep it exciting, but hopefully now we will have a little repreive anyway.  A little, since we will start this week on the next market.
