Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  A little late I know, but we had a very busy Christmas.  The entire Floch family came to visit us for a long weekend.  We had a lot of fun celebrating the birth of our Savior.  Here are a few pictures to get you started on our wonderful Christmas.
Audra loved getting lots of snuggles from everyone!
One night we all made graham cracker houses!  It was a lot of fun to see the very different designs!  And my children especially enjoyed eating all the candy!  Kevin & Gain designed a 2 story adobe style home, with a retractable roof to release the space ships that are hidden inside (did you get all that).
Auntie Mandy designed Gavin's favorite home, he asked if he could keep it when she was finished.  And Jake and Hannah's had lots of intricate details.  I did also miss getting a picture of Pops home, he designed a very nice house as well.  For more on the gingerbread houses check out Mandy's blog.
On Christmas Eve we went to the family candlelight service at church and on the way home we stopped for our last peppermint mochas of the season.  The kiddos each got waters and were quite excited to have their own cups.  We then went home and had the Holt traditional Christmas tree pizza and opened our Christmas presents.  It was a very fun evening and filled with lots of laughter and wonderful family time.
One night we all ventured out to try Chino Bandito (a Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives find) for a lovely Mexican/Chinese meal.  It was really good, we will definitely be back.
Audra had a very "Princess" Christmas!  She got lots of jewelry and dressup shoes, a crown, disney princess slippers and pjs and dolls and she LOVED it all!  Hadley enjoyed lots of snuggles from everyone and was a very good sleepy head.
On Christmas day our friends the Wallis' joined us for a lovely roast dinner, a white elephant gift exchange and a men vs women game of Cranium.  Hadley & Ivy got to meet for the first time.  They don't know it but they will be best friends.  And even though Hadley was born just a week later is quite a bit larger than Ivy.
For Christmas my dad helped Kevin make this awesome basketball hoop for Gavin.  It is made of old ammo boxes and I absolutely love how it turned out!  Be sure to check Junk in the Trunk later this week for a quick tutorial!
It was a very wonderful Christmas spent with my family.  I am so very thankful that everyone was able to come.  And thank you to everyone for all the wonderful gifts and cards!

I have a few videos for you. This first one is  Gavin singing to "baby Hadley".
This second one is Gavin when we told him what we were giving him for his birthday.

It's that time of week again, for pictures from the phone!  And this week I'm behind so we have 2 weeks of photos!  Are you ready . . . because its a lot of pictures.

Gavin and Audra playing tackle Daddy!
Gavin rocked out with Justin Bieber singing some Christmas music.  Gavin loves his Justing Bieber Christmas cd that Grammy got him.  His favorite song is "Little Drummer Boy" or as Gav calls it "Bar um bum bum bum".  Any time we hear Little Drummer Boy, now he gets really excited.
And Hadley has learned to tune out the crazy noise from the other 2 and still manages to get some good sleep.
Gavin is my big helper.  He loves to help with "Baby Hadley".  And for some reason when I asked him to say cheese, this is what I got.
Audra and her lovely after nap hair.

Gavin in his birthday Cardinals gear.
Hadley had her first bath.
Audra has been enjoying her Daddy a lot lately.
Finally got the ornaments up on the tree.

We helped Auntie Mandy unpack some things at her new apartment.
Gavin enjoying his new ride.
The birthday boy!
And of course we had to get donuts on the birthday!
"YYEEEAAHHH!!"
"When's it my birthday?"
And Hadley is oblivious to it all.

This week the kiddos have had colds.  Gavin likes to wipe his snotty nose with his arm.  So I had asked him to go to the bathroom to wash his hands and arms off, and this is what came out a few minutes later . . .
2 wet heads!!!
Apparently they thought I said give each other a bath?!

So this isn't the best picture, but there is a funny story to go with it.  So Hadley was sleeping in my arms, and Gavin came over and sat next to me and spiked Hadley's hair and said, "Mom, Hadley has Sonic hair!"  He was very excited.  And for those who don't know Sonic the Hedgehog is a cartoon that Gavin is quite obsessed with these days.  It was quite hillarious.
They got a package from Auntie T with toothbrushes!  They were very excited.  It's a good thing we have Auntie T to take such good care of our teeth!

And she sent Audra this very fun Belle doll!  She was mad in this picture, because Gavin kept trying to take it from her.
So as I said before Gavin is my little helper.  The other night I was trying to get dinner on the table and Audra and Hadley were both crying and starving.  So I got Gav and Audra started on their food and had filled a bottle for Hadley and set it on the counter.  I turned my back to grab something out of the oven and looked over and this is what I found . . .
its kind of hard to tell in this picture, but Gavin had grabbed the bottle and was feeding Hadley and he was eating his dinner at the same time, salad I might add.  What a good mutli-tasker!  So cute.

My girlies!
And that's it for this week!

Gavin turns 3!!!

My little boy is now a 3 year old!  Crazy.  The past few days we spent celebrating the man.  He has been looking forward to his birthday for quite some time now, so we wanted to make it a very special day for him!  So let the CELEBRATION BEGIN!

On Friday, Graunt Kathy came up to visit Gavin and bring him a birthday present.  Gavin was very excited to open his present and very very excited about what was inside . . .
His very own Carndinals uniform!  Complete with helmet and 2 "smashballs" (footballs that when they hit something sing and cheer for the cardinals).  He has not taken the uniform off since getting it.  Well if it was up to him, I did get him to take it off so I could wash it once.
Very proud of his helmet!
Gavin's present from Mommy & Daddy was to go to a Cardinals football game with Daddy on Sunday.
Of course the little man had to wear his uniform!
Walking into the game!
The view from their seats!
Love this picture!!!  So happy to be at the game!

And of course he took his helmet and football!  He was prepared.
When Gavin arrived home we had hung balloons and were ready to party some more!
We celebrated with pizza!  And Gavin blew out his birthday candles.

He then got to open his birthday presents from Grandma Roro and Grandad.  They sent him a new Lightning McQueen & Tow Mater and this very cool Barrel Blowout ramp for his Cars!  He was very excited and hasn't stopped playing with it since.  Thank you so much.  And Audra has not put down her baby doll either.
Then he opened a present from Grandma Floch.  She sent him Cars 2!  (of course a huge hit in this house) and a Fransisco pillow!

And then he opened his present from Auntie Mandy.  She got him this amazing Buzz Lightyear shirt, some army men and another shirt and pants!  The shirt was a huge hit and the army men!
And then he got this amazing Escalade Power Wheels from Uncle Nate and Nana and Gramps!  He was quite terrified of it at first, but last night he did start to get the hang of it!
Audra loved it from the minute she saw it and never wants to leave the garage!

On Monday when Gavin woke up we got dressed and went to get donuts to celebrate his special day.  And he got to wear his new shirt and a special birthday button from Auntie Mandy.
He was very excited about his sprinkle donut!

And for dinner we had a birthday party with his friends at Chick'fil'a (Gavin's favorite of course)!
He hasn't stopped talking about his party with his friends at Chick'fil'a since!

All the kiddos!
Thank you to everyone for all the wonderful birthday presents and for making Gavin's birthday such a special day!
