I am not really sure why, but the 1st two pictures keep turning sideways and I can't seem to figure out how to make it not do that. Sorry.

Kevin's Birthday Celebration

Last Saturday we had a Black and White dinner party in honor of Kevin's birthday. We got all dressed up and had all our friends over for a wonderful evening of fellowship. The Lord has truly blessed us with amazing friends to be able to celebrate with.

Our Week

We have been quite busy lately, so here are some pictures to let you in on our week.

Gavin is quite the loving big brother. Sometimes a little too much so, but he LOVES his little Audra ("Audrus" in Gav terms).

He always wants to hold her hand.

We blew up this toy Gavin got for his birthday last year and they both loved it. Audra liked that she could sit and chew on the balls and Gav loved climbing through it. A year ago when we blew this up, he was completely scared of it, but not anymore.

He can't wait till Audra can really play with him. He was trying to play football with her, but she just wanted to chew the ball.

I think Gavin is going through a growth spurt. He is eating constantly and a ton of food at that. Well look what he found in the cupboard. FRUIT LOOPS! And apparently one hand at a time was just not quick enough to get them out of the box. . .

I was in the kitchen and looked out and this is how I found him. Laying in the fruit loops eating them by the fist full.

And loving every minute.

Yesterday I was working on a little painting and of course Gavin wanted to help. And when Gavin helps with paint . . . this is what you get . . .

some paint in your hair and all over your body.

So needless to say he needed a bath. Well when I went to lay Audra down for a nap, I came downstairs to . . . this . . .
He was nourishing his dry skin apparently. And he has quite a thing for his hair.

Happy Birthday Baylor!!!

On Monday, not only did we celebrate Kevin's birthday but we also celebrated one of Gavin's bestest friends Baylor (or in Gavin terms "Bayor", even just looking through these pictures he would not stop saying "Bayor . . . train . . . Bayor . . Bayor"). So we went with the Arnolds for a birthday lunch at the train park.

The boys got to play on the playground, run in the sand, oh and start the water in the sand and throw it all over (they are boys for sure and Gavin was quite a disgusting mess with sand all over). This picture is really funny though because they were standing up there yelling "hey" back and forth, one of Gavin's favorite things to say.
We also got to ride the train 2 times. As you can see the boys thought this was great. I believe Baylor was yelling, "All aboard".

Birthday Wishes

Well we are a little late at saying this on the blog anyway, but we have been celebrating all week and end the celebration with a big dinner party with our friends on Saturday. But anyway we want to wish daddy a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! We love you more than words.

In search of FALL COLORS!

On Saturday we headed up to Oak Creek in Northern Arizona in search of some fall colors. As usual the pictures are in reverse order . . .

so we ended our drive home with this amazing sunset.

We also visited the train in Flagstaff. Gavin was quite excited about the "choo choo".

We stopped along Oak Creek to have a picnic lunch and Gavin got to run around and play "bootball".

So we discovered its quite difficult to take a family picture these days. Its quite hillarious really.

Gavin decided it was time to finish his sandwhich, while Audra decided to take up some opera singing.
