We were outside today when Kevin came home and Gavin ran over to the car and wanted to hop in with Kevin. So Gavin got to help Daddy drive the car into the garage.

Gavin found Kevin's Bible on the stairs this morning and was very excited. He carried it around all morning, like it was a treasure he had found. He would not set it down even just for a second.

Yesterday he climbed into his toybox and then proceeded to throw each of his toys on the ground one at a time.

Here are some random pictures from last week. Kevin has been teaching Gavin how to flex his muscles. Look at those big muscles he has.
He wants his Diamondbacks hat on all the time and only backwards.

Just relaxin watchin some Sesame Street.
This bucket previously had been holding all his toys in the car, but no longer, apparently it is acting as a hat these days.

Story Time with Dad.

Oh how Gavin loves his peppers.

Snack time.

First Haircut

Well it was really just a trim. I could hardly get him to sit still long enough, even while eating, to let me get much of a trim. Here are the before pictures. It was getting so long we couldn't spike it up anymore, so it layed down. Isn't he such a cutie?
This was my attempt at trying to get a picture of the back of his head so you could see how long the mullet was (well, really, still is, because I couldn't hardly get anything trimmed on the back), but he kept turning his head and leaning back.
And here is the finished product.
At least the top got a good trim.

Oh how we love the park!

Gavin had a busy week at the park. It was beautiful weather all week and Gavin was full of energy as usual, so the perfect way to let him run it all out is at the park. So all of these pictures are from several different trips to the park last week.
He loves this rubber ball, if you can't tell, he carried it with him all over the playground.
One night we had a picnic dinner and then Gavin got to run and run until the sun went down. At this point he was more concerned with getting a bite of that sandwich.

Eating on the fly.
Sneaking around the corner.
Going down one of the big, tunnel slides, which we discovered is not a favorite of Gavin's.

Kevin didn't want to miss out on all the fun.

My favorite picture, look at my handsome boys!
Another day at the train park. He enjoyed the train ride much more this time.
Gavin and his friend Charissa in the green and Philip is in the blue. They love the stagecoach, but there were all busy watching the train go by behind me.

These are just a few more pictures from a couple of weeks ago when Kevin's family was in town.
