Christmas Continued

On Christmas Eve we went to an early candlelight service and then came home and made Christmas tree pizzas for dinner.  And then it was time for the much anticipated, by Gavin mostly, present time!  Mandy was much better at making a Christmas tree shape than I was.

It was quite a rushed present opening session due to the chilren.

Gavin and Audra and Hadley all go to open one present from Kevin and I on Christmas Eve, pajamas of course.  And then on Christmas morning they each had a few more presents from us.

Gavin's big present was a basketball hoop made by Kevin and Pops.
He was quite excited about it.  And couldn't wait to shoot hoops.

Audra got a new baby and a backpack on wheels, sounds silly but she is always stealing Gavin's.
And our little helper elf, slept the morning away.
And then we opened stockings.  This picture is not great quality, but I loved that Hadley was smiling.

And of course everyone joined us in their pjs for stockings and sweet roll!
The kiddos loved playing in their new castle from Uncle Jake and Auntie Hannah.
Then the Wallis' joined us for a late lunch and of course games and a white elephant gift exchange.  And I would like you to take special note of Gavin's clothes.  He is going through a phase where he wants to pick out his own clothes, mostly clothes with something to do with sports, but needless to say very random and not matching and often the same outfit for many days in a row.

And Ivy and Hadley got to meet for the first time.  It was hard to get a decent picture of the two of them, because they both decided they were starving when we wanted to take pictures.  Ivy was born a week before Hadley.

Audra enjoyed getting lots of snuggles from everyone.
Auntie Hannah and Uncle Cam played Gavin's new Cars game with the kiddos.  They thought it was quite fun.

Thank you everyone for a wonderful Christmas.  Even though our house may be a little crazy with our kids, we loved having everyone here to celebrate Christmas.  I wouldn't want it any other way.

Christmas in Phoenix

Here s a start to our wonderful Christmas.  This year the whole Floch clan (minus Grandma Floch.  Someday maybe we will get her on a plane.) was able to join us here in Phoenix for a very fun weekend of Christmas celebration.  So lets get to it.

Miss Hadley just hanging out.
Love those eyes of Miss Audra!
Our smiley little girl.  She has been smiling since she was born.
Grammy arrived first and helped the kiddos makes some cookies.  The girls in their aprons!
Gavin busily rolling out the dough.
Cutting out the cookies.  It was quite a messy process.
This is probably one of the only moments Audra was actually helping, most of her time was spent eating cookies and dough.  Anytime Grammy turned her head Audra would shove more dough into her mouth.  And she does it all so quiet and sneakily that you don't notice most of the time.
The girls on the couch.
Then everyone else arrived and we had a fun evening of dancing and gingerbread houses.

The spread for our gingerbread houses and as you can see Gavin was already busy stuffing his face with candy.  And don't let the pacifier fool you, Audra definitely had more than her fair share of candy, I don't think she stopped shoving it in all night.
Hadley enjoyed lots of snuggles from Uncle Cam.

I caught her sneaking more candy!
And so the building begins!

Gavin and I worked on building these rocketships that went inside our house?!
We all ate way too much candy and wonderful cookies made by Grammy.
Auntie Mandy and her finished product.  She had Gavin's favorite house.  He asked if he could keep it.
Pops and his wonderful helper, see she made her rounds.
Gavin helping daddy stack the animals on the roof of the house.

Gavin & Kevin and their finished product.  Not really, they continued building and building . . .
Uncle Jake & Auntie Hannah . . .
and their finished house.
until they blew the roof down!  Just kidding, it just fell because it got too tall.
Hadley made her rounds.  Its hard to tell in this picture but Hadley's finger was stuck between the buttons of Auntie Mandy's shirt.
Relaxing after our fun day!
The kids enjoyed those gingerbread houses until I threw them away.  They would sneakily reach up onto the counter and pull the candies off of the houses days after this.  Needless to say they were quickly gone once I realized where they were finding the candy.
