Insta Friday

Well lets just get to it.  We had a very fun week. 

On Friday Audra and mommy had a date the grocery store.  As you can see, she was ready to go.  She had her baby, purse, phone, sunglasses and it even looks like some FUZZ!  I mean who can forget their fuzz!  Weird child.  We finished our morning at Costco where we had hot dogs.  Pops made it back and Hadley enjoyed some snuggles.  And on Saturday morning Miss Audra was getting quite mischievous.  While I was busy feeding Hadley, she very quietly snuck off.  I thought she had gone back outside where she had been playing in the dirt.  But much to my surprise this is where I found her, shutting me out of the bathroom where she was flooding it.  

Audra has been enjoying having having Grammy around and eating all her food.  Her favorite is of course Grammys cereal and her yogurt.

On Saturday we also enjoyed some Zags basketball!

Hadley helped Daddy with some work on the computer and Gavin enjoyed some wrestling.  On Monday the kids, Grammy and I headed to California to visit Uncle Jake & Auntie Hannah and Uncle Cam who had come down for his spring break.  And it worked out nicely because Daddy had several very long days of work.  When we arrived at the "HO-tel" (as Gavin calls it), the kids were quite the big helpers getting all our stuff to the room.  Gavin pulled Grammy's bag all the way across the parking lot and into the hotel and up the elevator to the our room.  And when we left, he did the same.  He was a very big helper.

And also a big helper with Miss Hadley.  He loves to sing to her when she crys.  Gavin was ready for the California sun with his glasses in tow.  On Tuesday we went and picked up Uncle Cam and grabbed some lunch from Chickfila to take to the park.  It was a beautiful day.

We ate lunch and then the kids played on the playground and then we headed over to the train.  Here's the crew on the train ready for departure.

And then we headed out to get some yogurt!  We love us some yogurt!  And then back to Jake and Hannah for some relaxation and Muppets!!

Gavin hung out in the playpen to keep her company.  On Wednesday we went to Coffee Bean to visit Auntie Hannah at work.  She made us some yummy drinks!  Thanks Auntie Hannah!

And then we headed to the beach with Uncle Came.  This was the kids, well actually Gavin has been once before but a really long time ago and I'm sure he wouldn't remember, so Audra's first time to the beach.  They loved it.  Audra sat in one place most of the day, in the sand and played and played with her bucket and measuring cups that Grammy bought.  And Gavin loved the water.  Uncle Cam and him enjoyed jumping over the waves.  By the end he was quite cold.  I have to say, the water was quite icy, but he loved it.  Then in the evening we met up with Uncle Jake and Auntie Hannah for dinner at Red Robin.  And ended with some tossing of pennies into the fountain.

While Hadley was fast asleep.  Thank you Auntie Hannah and Uncle Jake for hanging out with us and letting us destroy your apartment with toys.  We had a wonderful time.  And thank you Uncle Came for all the fun! Gavin enjoyed having you around to keep him company.  At our hotel there was a stream and pond and the kids quite enjoyed finding the Koi fish and turtles.  And yesterday we made our trek home and Daddy made it home for dinner!  The kids were quite excited to see Daddy and spend some time with him before bedtime.

And that was our busy, wonderful week!

Birthday Wishes!

Today we wanted to wish Uncle Nate & Grandad a very Happy Birthday!!!  We hope you both have a wonderful day!  

Today is a big day for birthdays, we also want to wish cousin Stephanie and Uncle Adam & Auntie Mo and Doug (aka "the other Adam" in Gavin's words) a very very Happy Birthday!
WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!

Insta Friday

This week we had Grammy & Pops visit to help mommy while Daddy works his long hours.

This week we kept busy . . .

Hadley is holding her head up more and more and sat in the high chair for the first time.

Audra is working on perfecting her crazy faces.

And Gavin enjoyed some time relaxing with Daddy, while he could.

Audra has been loving wearing pigtails!  And actually leaves them in.

We had a very yummy lunch with Grammy outside enjoying this beautiful weather.

Audra found these glasses at a thrift store and loved them so much, she actually stole them; she slipped them in my purse sometime while we were shopping.

We had dinner with Daddy!  And she showed off those new glasses.

And Hadley is a crazy roller these days.  She rolls mostly from her back, but in both directions.  Crazy girl.

Gavin had his first baseball practice!  At first he did not want to warm up, he said, "I just want to PLAY BASEBALL!"  He didnt want to just run the bases with everyone else, instead he just sat down on the ground.  But once they got playing he had fun.

And today we met the Axton's for some splash pad fun!

And Hadley quite enjoyed her first March Madness!  We were watching the Zags on the computer and she was quite into it.

Hadley loved some time with Gavin on the couch.

And Gavin was quite tuckered out from a fun day at MOPS and then lunch at the park.  So tuckered out, that the boy who doesn't take naps anymore fell asleep on the way home and when I carried him in remained asleep.  And continued to sleep very awkwardly.

Auntie Mandy came over for dinner and the kids were fighting over her lap.

And we keep finding these 2 fingers in Hadley's mouth more and more.  (Look familiar Mandy).

The little one is getting big so fast.

Hadley first rolled over last week and was quite proud of herself.

Insta Friday

Well I have been issues uploading my pictures, so I have 2 weeks of instafriday pictures!

So two weeks ago we spent the week . . .

we had lunch with Daddy at Costco.  I had asked Gavin where he wanted to eat lunch and he said, "a hotdog at Costco".  Definitely can't complain about that!

On Saturday that week we ate dinner at In n Out.  Because Kevin said the kids were sharing, they cut their hamburger in half.  Audra was very excited to have her hamburger just like Mommy & Daddy's.  

Hadley enjoyed her time on her mat as well as Audra enjoyed putting her dolly's on it too!

Miss Hadley is ever growing and full of smiles!

Gavin wore the goggles non-stop this week.  Everywhere we went he had to wear the goggles.  And enjoyed some time loving on his sister.  Anytime Gavin is around Hadley perks up and always has a smile.  She loves her Gavin.

We took a drive to the mailbox.  I love Audra is so relaxed and just sits back while Gavin drives.  We made it all the way around the block.  Gavin has gotten very good at driving his "truck".  He does get a little distracted by flowers, we discovered as he almost ran off the road a few times and almost ran into a parked car (which of course that person had to exit their house just as we almost his their lovely car, but we managed to escape without any scratches).

The kiddos got a package from Auntie T & Uncle Gar.  Audra's highlight was a monkey and some cute Hello Kitty jewelry and Gavin's was new Cars 2 pjs and are you ready for this . . . a . . . JUSTIN BIEBER TOOTHBRUSH!  And it sings 4 songs.  He is quite in love with it, however he did already break it, but still carries it around and dances to the music.

On Thursday 2 weeks ago the kiddos spent the morning playing with some friends, while mommy did a little work.  On the way home Gavin was feeding Hadley for me, because she was starving, as she always is in the car, and he even fell asleep while feeding her, but still continued!  What a great big brother.

Audra is often covered in jewelry these days and quite proud of herself!

On Sunday, Miss Audra spent the evening with Auntie Mandy.  She had a lot of fun and kept pointing and chatting about her nails all day Monday!  Thanks again Auntie Mandy for watching the little missy.  Go check out Mandy's blog for her rundown of the night.  And can I just say, I love this picture of her, all stylish and posed.

Insta Friday

Well first I want to apologize for the lack of posting this week.  It's been a very crazy week.  Miss Hadley has been quite sick this week.  We actually went to the doctor the last 3 days and we got chest x-rays.  What a fun week huh!

Last weekend we got to spend some time with Uncle Nate.  The kiddos were very excited to see him.

On Saturday night we went to Pinnacle Peak Patio with Graunt Kathy & Gruncle Pauly, cousins Daryl and Melissa & Uncle Nate to celebrate Graunt Kathy's birthday.  Gavin & Audra's favorite thing about the night was the horse. Oh and Audra loved the corn!

Since we didn't leave the house most of the rest of the week.  Audra had fun with her bow!

The kiddos were quite exhausted after dinner on Saturday.

Hadley enjoyed some snuggles with Gavin.

And on Sunday we went to lunch with the gang and Auntie Mandy joined us too at Chino Bandido, our new favorite place.

The kiddos had lots of fun with Uncle Nate.  This bottom picture cracks me up because Audra was standing right in front of Gavin just watching him, longingly, eat his Popsicle.  She's a funny girl.

Gavin & Audra enjoyed some time playing outside.  They discovered they could ride their bikes down the little hill.  It was quite funny, Audra fell off Mater many times trying to ride him down the hill.

One of our many trips to the doctor this week.  Although thanks to Daddy, Gavin and Audra only had to go one time with me.

One morning I was checking the laundry and when I came back to the kitchen Audra had gotten herself and Gavin a very large bowl of cereal.  And Gavin was stirring the cereal with his toothbrush.

Yesterday, I took the kiddos to McDonalds.  They were needing some time out of the house, so we got ice cream!  And thanks to McDonalds, they have these perfect size kiddy cones for only 35 cents.  They'd been holding out on me.  If you ever can't find us, that is where we will be, getting more ice cream.

And that's our week.  It does look like Miss Hadley is on the mends.  The doctor thought she sounded better today and they chest x-ray was clear of pneumonia, just a little bronchilitis.
