Memorial Day Weekend

So I may be a little behind but I am finally getting up our pictures from our Memorial Day weekend. We had a fun trip that wouldn't be complete without a little Holt excitement, some car isssues and some throwing up, but what trip wouldn't be complete without it. We arrived late on Friday night and got up bright an early for graduation Saturday morning. Thankfully Hannah & Jake were both near the beginning of the graduates, so Kevin & I both got to see them get their diplomas before taking the kiddos somewhere to run around.

Auntie Hannah recieving her first of 2 diplomas! Way to go!And you can see her excitement as well.Uncle Jake recieving his diploma! Woohoo!

Time to run and play while we wait for graduation to end.
These are some of my favorite pictures from the whole weekend. Gavin decided he wanted to climb a tree. First of all we have never discussed climbing trees before, so I'm not sure where it come from, but it was pretty funny watching him attempt to climb the trees.
This is a sidenote, but very funny story . . . when we were driving to graduation on Saturday morning Gavin says, "mommy those are tall trees!!" Apparently the we have been depriving our child of trees his whole life living in Arizona. It was a very funny observation.
Holding the signs Auntie Mandy made for Uncle Jake.
The whole gang, well except for Little Missy, she had pooped her pants and I had only brought one extra diaper, so she was sitting in the stroller.
Auntie Mandy kindly didn't want Audra to be left out of all the pictures and held her.
The happy couple.
We then went to a party for Auntie Hannah & Uncle Jake and then spent the evening just relaxing at Uncle Jake's house. Auntie Mandy brought presents for Gavin, which he always loves. She brought him Lighting McQueen socks and a Cars & Toy Story puzzle. He was very excited to get to work on the puzzles. What a wonderful Aunt he has.
This picture is from the party, Audra was loving the little dog. The dog however was not loving her. She would squeal and scream anytime she saw the dog.
On Sunday the guys fixed our car, while the ladies went to the flea market. And then in the evening we went out to dinner to celebrate Grammy's birthday and Audra's soon to be birthday.
The birthday girls.
We then went back to Auntie Mandy's house where Audra opened her gifts. And as you can see Gavin was much more excited about this than Audra.
Audra loved all of her presents. Thank you everyone for the wonderful gifts. Our friends Reid and Lyndsy stopped by & we got to catch up with them and a quick lunch with some friends that moved from Phoenix on our way out of town on Monday. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating Jake & Hannah's graduation and Grammy & Audra's birthday.

I hope that you all did not miss out on National Donut Day!!! On Friday started our birthday celebration day with free donuts from Krispy Kreme.Gavin always loves donuts. However I think someone else might love them more . . .Audra ate her entire donut while Gavin still had half a donut to go. Thank you National Donut Day for falling on the day we were celebrating Little Missy. It was a very fun way to start our day.

Audra Turns 1!

Last night we celebrated Audra's first birthday. Can you believe it, she is already a year old. Boy does time fly by. We celebrated by having a joint first birthday party with Audra's friend Ike, they are just 2 weeks apart. It was very fun to celebrate the two of them together. Unfortunately Ike's mom & sister came down with a stomach bug and did not make it to the party, but we had a fun night anyway. Well most of us anyway.Audra was quite fascinated with Ike crawling around. She is such a crazy walker these days she was following Ike around as he crawled and explored the new place. The birthday girl. The amazing birthday cake the Taylor's brought. How cute it that. And they each had their own cake too!The birthday kiddos!Ike was not too thrilled with the whole thing. And Audra was quite mesmorized by Ike's screaming. The dad's trying to help blow the candles out.Trying the cake & not too sure he likes it.Audra on the other hand, loved the cake. She ate it very ladylike for the most part. Just using one finger to dig in the cake and then lick it off. Do you think she liked it?Starting to dig in a little more. The birthday crew. Audra shoving her face and Ike drinking his milk. While the big kids were scouting out the candy they wanted on their ice cream.Little Missy & ColeyThe big kids loving their ice cream sundaes.Let the sword fighting begin. And present time.Don't mind Gavin trying to steal the present he gave to Ike.Audra showing off her new gifts. Our little birthday girl. And ended the night with a second round of cake with daddy.I love how she looks at Kevin. Too cute. What a fun night. Thank you to everyone for all your help and birthday wishes and gifts. We had a wonderful evening celebrating the birth of our little girl.

The Water Slide

Our internet has been having some troubles as of late so I have been having some issues uploading our pictures from our graduation/Memorial Day weekend. So those are still coming. But until then . . .
yesterday we had a playdate with some friends from church. And this is what they had in their yard. Gavin loved it. He played nonstop for hours, climbing, and running and sliding. I did forget to take my camera with me so this picture is borrowed from a friend, but Gav is there on the right side at the bottom of the slide. He didn't stop talking about the "slide" and the "water fall". When he woke up from his nap he was very upset and wanted to go back to the slide.
