Catching up: last week!

The always smiley Miss Hadley!  Gotta love the open mouth smile.

On Sunday we headed up to Flagstaff in search of some fall colors and cooler weather.  On the way we stopped and had lunch at Five Guys.  I think she enjoyed it.

We may have to drive 2 hours to find it, but its worth it once we get there.

Miss Hadley is 10 months!

"Mom, why did you leave me here."  Love this face.
Kevin & Nate were enjoying a fun game of football with Audra.

In the zone.  I turned around and saw this.  It just makes me laugh!

Gavin & Audra begged me to eat dinner in their rocketship!  But soon had to escape the flys swarming our backyard.
Hadley trying on the baseball helmet.

Hadley trying to open the oven.  She couldn't wait for dinner to be ready.
Again, someone was happy to find her brothers left overs.
Hadley was watching the other 2 play outside.

I know this one is hard to see, but I was dying because if you look closely that is her diaper bulging out the bottom of her shorts!  Silly girl would rather walk around in a sagging, heavy diaper than just go in the toilet.
We managed to get a french braid in Audra's hair.
And Gavin has decided her wants to grow out his hair, like his friend Orland. One day while I was doing Audra's hair, he wanted to do his hair.  So I put a little bit of gel in his hand and he put it in his hair.  Then all of a sudden he began screaming and crying looking at himself in the mirror.  He was screaming that his hair was crazy!!!  And we had to cut it immediately.  Of course we were trying to head out the door so I couldn't take the time to cut it right then, so I told him we would cut it later that day.  He eventually calmed down and then wouldn't let me cut it later of course.  This past Sunday at church he told his teachers that his hair was "unruly".  Where does he get this stuff, I will never know.  He told them it was "crazy" and "unruly" and that he needed a hair cut.  Silly boy.  He teachers quite enjoyed him and thought he was hilarious.
Pops was passing through for the afternoon and the kiddos took full advantage.  The ran Pops around the backyard and had him read lots of books!

Gavin must be going through a growth spurt these days because he is eating a ton!  One morning he had me make him 4 eggs!  I made one and he ate it and nicely came and asked me for more, so I made one more and then again and again.

Catching up, part 2

Miss Hadley has discovered that she can climb up on the step and stand by the tv.  This is currently her favorite spot to climb.  And just this week has figured out how to climb back down on her own, up to this point she would stand and scream when she was ready to get down.
Quite proud of herself.
Gavin & Audra spent some time painting.  My little artist, hard at work.

Audra would much rather paint herself!  She always can manage to make a mess.
"Cheese!"
Audra discovered Mommy's makeup and decided to help herself.
Gavin got a fun evening out with Daddy & Uncle Nate to a Dbacks game.  I think its safe to say he enjoyed himself.  And I was told the first thing he asked for upon arrival was cotton candy!  Of course.
Gotta love after nap hair!
Hadley loves herself some apple!

And Hadley discovered Audra's cuboard of tupperware.
We made books for some of their friends and packaged them up and sent them out in the mail.  They were quite excited to send them off.
And how could we forget to bring the chips with us!  However on the way home she tripped and dropped the chips and they spilled all over the ground.  I told her she couldn't pick them up, but to leave them.  Audra then enjoyed watching all the birds come and eat her chips.  Anytime she saw a bird the rest of the day we heard about the birds eating her chips.
Sweet Hadley.
Audra takes very good care of her babies.  She has been practicing how to hold her babies.

Our country bumpkin.  She was just excited about the pockets!
Audra brought her cup over to me and was yelling "Pops!"  I couldn't figure out what her cup had to do with Pops and then she started pointing to her cup.  If you notice on the top left corner of the cup there are wind turbines.  I was quite impressed, she was making the connection between Pops and the wind turbine!  She's one smart cookie!
Daddy got home early enough that we headed over to the playground for a little fun in the park before it go too dark.  This girl was quite excited to crawl around on the playground.

Not often that you see these two hugging each other and smiling!
A fun night at the playground.
Another morning we met our friends from MOPS at the train park.
The kiddos had a lot of fun playing with their friends and riding the train.  And they especially enjoyed pushing the Axton's stroller, and its big enough that Gavin & Audra & Orland could all push it together.
Flu shots=ice cream!
My artist hard at work.  We were working on the letters of his name.

"Hi"
She's been caught red handed.
Hadley got to jump on the trampoline for the first time!  She was quite excited.

And Audra got a big girl bed.  No more crib for her!
The kids each picked out a pumpkin that we let them paint.

And Hadley discovered Gavin's plate left behind.  And was quite excited.
I was talking pictures of crazy Hadley and this one was feeling left out.
Gavin's plate had bbq sauce left behind.  I think she quite enjoyed it!

Audra had apparently found a marker before bed time.  When I found her after nap, she had brown marker all over her arm and hands.  She was quite upset!  Apparently I need to check before bedtime what she is taking to bed with her.  There was also a very brown wall next to her bed.

Enjoying the big girl bed.  Miss Hadley is waving hi.
They look so happy.
Gavin came down stairs one night with this on!  He preferred the backwards look.  It was his new super hero cape, Kevin's old Sparky vest!

Lunch with Daddy!

Audra all set for a date night with Auntie Mandy
Woohoo, we're making progress!
