Here we go . . .
Last Saturday we had Gavin's second baseball game. It was quite hilarious at the end of the game, I looked across the field between 1st and 2nd base there were 3 kids and they were all bent over playing in the dirt! Gotta love tball.
Hadley quite enjoyed sitting outside as at the game too. After the game, we had lunch with Grammy and Pops!
Then we came home to get ready for our Easter weekend. Audra helped Grammy make the rolls for Sunday. And then once Auntie Mandy and Daddy were home we colored Easter eggs.
Audra was quite excited about the coloring and Gavin and Pops were in the color zone.
And then Grammy helped the kiddos make resurrection rolls! So yummy. And Daddy read them the Resurrection story before heading to bed. While Hadley tried on her new headband Auntie Mandy made.
On Sunday we celebrated a wonderful resurrection day with great friends and family, with lots and lots of yummy food. And the third and 4th pictures are a rare moment for Miss Audra this week with a smile and looking oh so sweet. She's definitely been pushing the discipline line this week.
Trying out Gavin's hat and playing baseball like her big brother.
Miss Hadley had her first bites of rice cereal. Im not so sure she liked it.
Gavin and Audra both got bath foam in their Easter baskets and needless to say they loved it. I think Gavin's bottle was gone after just 2 nights. He would squirt it out and just crack up laughing. Audra eventually warmed up to the idea. At first she was not happy about the mess on her face and arms.
Yesterday after MOPS the kids and I went to surprise Kevin at work and to take him to lunch. And while we were out Audra decided to try out Hadley's seat, I think she might be a little big. The bottom left picture cracks me up, because this is Audra every morning. Every morning when Grammy and then Pops pour their bowl of cereal she runs over to where they are and places herself right next to them so she can mooch their cereal.
And yesterday we went for a walk to the mail box, this is one of Gavin's favorite things to do these days, because drives his Escalade. Well this time Hadley got to take a ride too. She was having a hard time hold her head up so Pops helped her.
And that is our week! And only a couple more days and Daddy will be done working these crazy hours! YEAH!
