If you didn't notice I missed last Friday's InstaFriday. And so this week I have a lot of making up to do. Things have been a little crazy around here preparing for the Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market.
Two weeks ago . . .
Gavin decided to try his goggles on Hadley. It was quite hilarious. She just sat there and let him do it. On Saturday we went to Gavin's baseball game. It felt like I was sitting at a baseball game in Washington, not Phoenix, it was absolutely freezing. It was super SUPER windy and cold. The girls did not enjoy it at all. Hadley has learned how to hold her own bottle which is quite exciting. And then the girls spent the afternoon doing a little thrifting. Audra has been quite enjoying the thrifting these days.
She found an awesome wig, glasses and some lei's. She was quite funny running around the store.
On Sunday, my mom went with me to the Hullabaloo sale where I was doing a booth. We had a fun time without all the kiddos and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Hadley has discovered her feet in the last couple weeks and has started teething. Lots and lots of drooling.
Hadley fell asleep at dinner. And Gavin decided that he was a baby. I found him watching his movie like this one day. And Hadley lost her pacifier, can you find it?
Gavin and Hadley enjoyed some movie time while I tried to get some projects done.
Audra enjoyed some fun outside.
Audra's meal of choice these days is cereal. Ever since Grammy & Pops were here, she loves her a good bowl of cereal, in the morning and usually after she gets up from a nap.
Last week we spent a couple days at the doctor with Hadley because she had an ear infection that would not go away. The best part was I discovered a wonderful new way to keep the kiddos occupied and busy. I found crayons in my purse and Gavin and Audra drew pictures on the paper on the waiting table. It was wonderful!
Then Gavin fell out of his bed and hit his head on his toybox. Kevin and I heard a loud thud. Neither of us was too alarmed, but then I heard screaming. I ran upstairs and he was sitting on the floor wrapped in his blankets crying. I picked him up and was trying to get him to calm down and asked him if he fell out of bed, he said, "yes". I said, "did you hurt yourself?" he said,"my my heeeaaad," I looked down at him and saw him gushing blood down his face. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as all the blood made it look, but he woke up with quite a nasty swollen eye. It didn't seem to even bother him.
I was taking a picture of Gavin's eye and Audra felt left out and wanted her picture taken.
Last Friday, Auntie Mandy had the day off so we went to join her at her pool. The kids had a lot of fun. Gavin has been talking about going back to Auntie Mandy's all week. And Hadley had her first swim. She quite enjoyed the water.
Saturday Gavin had another baseball game. He was not really all there, he was half asleep most of the game and kept yawning.
On Wednesday Audra made sure when we left the house for Gavin's practice that she had her baseball glove and ball. She quite enjoyed Gavin's practice and ran around the whole time chasing balls.
And that's it.
