Trip to Italy: Day 6 Cinque Terra

For our 6th day we decided that we neede a morning to sleep in, which never happens in the Holt household anymore. It was quite wonderful to sleep in and relax and not have an agenda. We then rode the train to Monterossa and spent the afternoon enjoying the sun. Unlike Arizona where the sun is scalding hot, it was just warm enough to sit in the sun and enjoy its warmth. Kevin is not one to lay around and not do anything, but he allowed us an afternoon of lounging in the sun under an umbrella. It was quite wonderful. In the evening we headed back to Vernazza, grabbed a loaf of bread and some cheese and headed out for sunset hike. It was a great way for a trip to come to a close.
