InstaFriday

InstaFriday from 2 weeks ago, just a little behind.  We've been having too much fun on vacation I guess.  Miss Hadley has been working hard at crawling, she has managed to crawl a couple steps, but still not too sure of it yet.  And has been quite busy pulling herself up on anything she can get her hands on.
Very proud of herself for pulling up on the chair.
Thanks to my amazing parents, Kevin and I had the chance to get away for a couple days.  We had lots of fun just relaxing and doing some junkin' around Coeur d'Alene and Spokane.
We of course hit up several local Diner, Drive-Ins and Dives on our weekend.  It was quite delicious as always.  Our favorite was a little place in Coeur d'Alene with the most amazing Pecan Roll!  Look at that thing!  It was huge and oh so good.
Gavin has been quite busy!  And lots of playing with "the guys" these days.
These were Kevin and I's finds from our weekend.  Lots of fun stuff.
We enjoyed a very yummy lunch with Grandma.  Ok so in this picture, Audra reminds me of an Oompa Loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  Something about the curls on the side and the eyebrows I think.  It just makes me laugh.
The kids enjoyed trying to ride the skateboard.
Hadley enjoying Pops.
We then started up the fire and roasted smores!  It think they liked them.

The kids have been enjoying picking raspberries over at Grandma's house.  Audra kept sticking her fingers in the raspberries and it soo reminded me of Auntie Mandy, she used to do the same thing.  The top picture on the right was a rare moment, where all three kids were playing together with the same toy!
Grammy braided Audra's hair, quite a feat to keep this girl still.
Hadley helping Gavin with his puzzle.

While Audra helped sweep the floor.  Our little helper.
One day we took a picnic lunch to Manito park and then the kids played on the splashpad.
Gavin has been enjoying all our junkin' because he finds lots of treasures too.  One day at Goodwill he found these awesome Spiderman gloves.  His favorite part is that they make noises!
Miss Hadley always has a smile for us, even though she has been working on getting 5 teeth in right now.  She now has all 4 teeth on the top and bottom!
Audra was working on styling my hair for me.
Hadley was enjoying my awesome thrift store find.
A rare moment where the kiddos were playing together without fighting.  She was sitting on the chair and he would climb up onto the chair with the box on his head and yell and she would just crack up.
It was quite hillarious.
They have also been enjoying havin Grammy and Pops read them lots of books.  And how can you resist that cool dude with the sunglasses.
On Thursday night we went down to the South Perry Farmers Market.  We had a lot of fun walking and then went to this amazing pizza place for dinner.  We had the most amazing pizza, it was peach, mascapone, fresh basil and prosciutto, may sound weird, but it was soooo good!
While we were waiting for our pizza, Gavin wanted me to draw a picture in his notebook.  First he wanted me to draw a picture of daddy, he was supposed to be biggest.  Then a picture of Pops, he was bigger than Gavin.  And then I was supposed to draw Gavin.  And then Gavin requested I go back and draw "bellies" on Daddy & Pops.  I couldn't hold back the laughter, it was quite funny as he was holding his stomach and telling me to draw bellies, but not on him.  Funny boy.
Gavin and Audra have been enjoying going over to Grandma Floch's to pick raspberries.  Grandma came over one day and brought a bucket and Gavin thought she brought it just for him.  He was ready to eat the whole bucket.
Sometimes I wonder why we even buy toys.  The kids spent one day fighting over the diaper box.  We had to go find another box for the other one to play in, but it wasn't good enough of course.
And that was our week.  Just having too much fun in the good old Northwest!
